Hi

Sorry, but your logs really didn't contain relevant part. Gammu
overwrites logs on each startup and you've sent log for identify
instead of the failed message sending. The SMSD logs do not have
enabled logging of phone communication.

Anyway your issue will be most likely fixed by some recent version as
there were quite a lot of fixes since 1.33.0.

I do what Gilberto Dos Santos Alves said but I got :

***@raspberrypi:~ $ gammu -c /home/pi/gammurc.cfg identify
Warning: Configuration could not be parsed!
Avertissement: No configuration read, using builtin defaults!
Erreur Ã l'ouverture du pÃ©riphÃ©rique: il n'existe pas.

and my gammurc.cfg is :

connection = at19200
logfile = /home/pi/gammuraspy.log
logformat = textalldate
gammucoding = utf8

I tried with free, at and at19200 but I got always the same error

Another question how to update gammu, I done by :
sudo aptitude update
and
sudo aptitude upgrade
but it not seems to have updated gammu ?!

hi. seems that you need use root or include your user on users that handle
devices.

for know where how many gammurc files there are in your system use:

find / -iname 'gammurc*'

If I run the command with sudo it's not change anything :

OK I have change my config file to :

device=/dev/ttyUSB0
connection = at
logfile = /home/pi/gammuraspy.log
logformat = textalldate
gammucoding = utf8

Then I run these commands and got theses results :

***@raspberrypi:~ $ gammu -c /home/pi/gammurc.cfg identify
Erreur Ã l'ouverture du pÃ©riphÃ©rique : pÃ©riphÃ©rique inconnu, occupÃ© ou
problÃšme de permissions.
***@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo service gammu-smsd stop
***@raspberrypi:~ $ gammu -c /home/pi/gammurc.cfg identify

Fabricant : Huawei
ModÃšle : E169 (E169)
Firmware : 11.314.13.51.156

example that is on gammu manual is not good to explain what is going on.
why?
because we need step by step to understand things lets go avanti!

put on gammu command explicit place where you want write your log file,
what name and extension you want for your logfile, what type log you want
and what level (1 to 255 (255 is very details)), so my advice for teste
your sms:

gammu -c /path/your-config-gammurc -d textall -f
/path/your-log-file-for-sms.log sendsms TEXT number-destination
'your-message-delimited-by-apost'

after that please post your log for sendsms.
if necessary use loglevel inside your gammurc for more detailed what is
going on.
