Hi all,
I am trying to use gammu to send/receive SMS', but I am having some
problems.
I have tried with the following phones with both the USB cable and via
bluetooth.
Sony Ericsson K750i
Sony Ericsson M600i
Sony Ericsson P1
I have played with different config parameters, and nothing seems
to allow me to send an SMS successfully.
Every time I get an error referencing error 500 which seems to be a
generic error message.
I have tried several versions, including the latest 1.27.93.
This is on Debian Lenny if that makes any difference.
I believe now that this is caused by the fact that my network provider
doesn't own the actual network, and is "roaming" on another network.
This roaming does not cost me any money, but seems to be causing
gammu some problems.
I don't have any details, but it would make sense if gammu is failing
to send SMS' due to the fact that I am not on my "home" network.
Could this be the case? If so, is there a way to force/override this?
Thanks in advance.
